GHANA EMBASSY'S WORD FOR CREW.

Mr. Azumah, Consular of the Ghana Embassy in France, Paris, expressed solidarity to the Obour/AB Crentsil crew on  world tour. He did this on behalf of the Ambassador, when the crew accompanied by GHACIF executives paid visit to the Diplomats accredited to the mission. He told A.B. Crentsil that he has always been his fan and for that matter referred several of his songs to him. He even told him that he had seen A.B.'s son
on stage with a maiden song. On behalf of his Ambassador,he advised the crew to use the cultural services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in case of any future difficulty. He added that as for the Ghana Embassy in France it remains their home and services of his diplomats are always at their disposal. Lord Kenya,Kwabena Bour,AB Crentsil,Kokovelli,Answade and all other members of the crew expressed gratitudes with patriotic words to His Exellency Prof. Owusu Sarpong the Ambassador and his staff.

SANKOFA,
in the Akan language of Ghana, literally means «go back and retrieve » . The symbol is based on a mythical bird that flies forward with its head turned backwards. This reflects the Akan belief that the past serves as a guide for planning and building the future.

THE EMBASSY PARIS
This year marks an important milestone in the history of Ghana and we all need to acknowledge the toils of the country's founding fathers for their extraordinary vision, courage, devotion and sacrifice in the service of Ghana's emancipation in particular and the continent as a whole.
We have to be thankful for what God has done for our great nation for the past 50 years. We also have to resolve to do more to enhance the developmental efforts and unity of our motherland in consonance with our proverbial 'yen
ara y'asase nP.
This is why the formation of SANK OF A is very significant in that it will help consolidate the foundations of Franco-Ghanaian bonds and also explore other vistas towards developing our motherland.

GHACIF
Co-incidentally, the background of GHACIF website is the Sankofa symbol.So, SANKOFA association will be the background of the Ghanaian Community in France.
