EDITORIAL

I n 1946 the large majority of the troop who had returned from the far eastern theatre of war was demobilized. They had to return to their homes in towns and villages throughout the Gold Coast. There were no avenues of employment nor economic dynamism to absorb them.

Dear Ghanaians, I salute your attention. I do acknowledge your concern.
Here at overseas, we are also on battle fields. We will have to escape the fate of our Grandfathers when we go back home.

I thank all supporters of our Ghanaian Community In France Rep. Council.
With gravity, I measure the task that has been conferred on us. Beautiful and heavy responsibilities are awaiting us, but when the root is profound, we need not be afraid of the wind. The fate of Ghana and Ghanaians is a value that we all share. Let us hold on to this value and purge it's positiveness

In this project we have opened our council directly and indirectly to each and every Ghanaian resident in France. The diversity and warmth of Ghana will have to be manifested. We will have to exhibit our humanist traditions and our exigence for generosity.

GHACIF has given us the opportunity to show our capacity to progress together. It is our turn to seize it. The historical roots of our present state of ambiguity stems from the African modus operandi.

It has bequeathed a set pattern of unprogressive attitudes. Let us free ourselves from this modus operandi. GHACIF, have only two ambitions: Ghana and Ghanaians. All patriotic Ghanaians who are willing to devote themselves, ready to sacrifice day or night to serve their fellow Ghanaians are invited to join us.

My dear friends and compatriots, the time has come for preparation to leave room for action. Together, we are sparking the fire of unity and solidarity.

LONG LIVE GHANA LONG LIVE THE FRANCE GHANAIAN COMMUNITY GOD BLESS YOU.
