GHACIF APPOINTS AMBASSADORS WITH HONOUR.

 The Ghanaian Community In France Rep. Council has appointed four Ghanaian Musical stars and a national acrobat as its Ambassadors at large. The appointees are Kwabena Bour of konkontibaa fame,A.B. Crentsil of atia fame,Lord Kenya ( pictured left ) of odo de wo akomamu fame, Kokovelli of masane aba fame and national acrobat Answade alias wowowo. The appointees who received official notification on the 29/08/07 at the GHACIF HEADQUARTERS Sarcelles have accepted the appointment in good faith.

They have been ushered into office and have pledged to preach and defend the noble cause of GHACIF wherever they go. Nana A.B. Crentsil the doyen of the Ambassadors thanked GHACIF executives for the appointment. The Ghana Embassy in France has been informed of this pioneer Ghanaian diasporan Symbol.

SANKOFA,
in the Akan language of Ghana, literally means «go back and retrieve » . The symbol is based on a mythical bird that flies forward with its head turned backwards. This reflects the Akan belief that the past serves as a guide for planning and building the future.

THE EMBASSY PARIS
This year marks an important milestone in the history of Ghana and we all need to acknowledge the toils of the country's founding fathers for their extraordinary vision, courage, devotion and sacrifice in the service of Ghana's emancipation in particular and the continent as a whole.
We have to be thankful for what God has done for our great nation for the past 50 years. We also have to resolve to do more to enhance the developmental efforts and unity of our motherland in consonance with our proverbial 'yen
ara y'asase nP.
This is why the formation of SANK OF A is very significant in that it will help consolidate the foundations of Franco-Ghanaian bonds and also explore other vistas towards developing our motherland.

Co-incidentally, the background of GHACIF website is the Sankofa symbol.So, SANKOFA association will be the background of the Ghanaian Community in France.
