GHANA TAXI DRIVERS ASSOCS;POTENTIAL BACKBONE FOR OUR COMMUNITY. Wherever and whenever Taxi drivers hold a program in France, the pre-conception of TAXIMANIA bounces up.
The profession attracts a lot of Sympathy and if well exercised, it brings a satisfactory income.
Taxi drivers have the great respônsibility of managing an expansive liberty which is
the base of their work.
It was great when the quasi totality of Ghanaian Taxi drivers in Paris met on the 23/09/07 at Saint Denis to mourn with Yaw Penser ( pictured top with wife ) an Artisan Taxi Driver at the funeral of his mum Madam Akua Afriyie.
All Taxi associations were present. GHATAX the pioneer taxi association was present in its entirety. The President of GHATAS Mr.Yaw Nyamekye( pictured alone top )was accompanied by his wife. This senior Taxi Driver can be lauded for sustaining the association since its creation. He was the 1st Gen. Secretary and now the President after Mr. Frimpong alias Dr. Ntiki.
GHATAS is one of the leading Ghanaian associations in France. It has always seen progress since its creation.
Several other Taxi associations have sprung with remarkable progress. We say Bravo to these solid men and women.
