GHACIF AT THE MINISTRY FOR DIASPOREAN RELATIONS.
GHACIF has the Ministry of Diasporean Relations at heart and awaits a lot from it.
This is why on the 8/10/2007, our delegation called on the Chief Director and on the Cabinet of the Minister Hon. Asamoah Boateng.
In the absence of the Minister we were first warmly received by Mr. Hagan a senior officer of the Ministry and later on received by the Chief Director Mrs. Bridget Katsriku (pictured left).
Our delegation comprised of Stephen Howard GHACIF liasons officer in Ghana, GHACIF Deputy General Secretary Mr. Eugene Oyoko-Baah, Miss Rose Frimpong GHACIF Co-Ordinating Secretary in Ghana and Hon Osei Mensah GHACIF President.
GHACIF took the opportunity to call for adequate focus on the Ghanaian diaspora by this Ministry so as to use it's potentials for Ghana's development.
We are grateful for the positive hearings that were given to our demand. We hope for good general news from this Ministry for Ghanaians in the Diaspora very soon.
