GHANA'S HEALTH INSURANCE BOSS MEETS GHACIF EXECUTIVES IN PARIS.


Mr. Ras Boateng,Chief Executive Officer for Ghana's National Health Insurance Scheme has paid a technical visit to the Ghanaian Community in France Rep. Council last 20/05/2008.
The meeting took place at Sofitel Hotel Champs-Elysées in Paris.
A welcome address was read by Officer George Quist GHACIF Political advisor.
The CEO was in France to attend a meeting on Ghana's Health Insurance with World Bank officials.
He took the same oppotunity to meet GHACIF and hand over with thanks a transparent
report on GHACIF sponsorship of the needy for health insurance premiums.He said GHACIF is the pioneer donor to the Scheme.
He said others have since then followed the example. The report was received  by GHACIF Vice-President Mr. John Kennedy Kyeremeh who read a message of appreciation. The GHACIF President, Hon Osei Mensah chaired the meeting and asked all questions on NHIS.
After a complete tour of Paris, a dinner was held for the CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER at Top Restaurant at Bastille to express gratitudes on behalf of Ghanaians for the great work he is doing.
